ASYNCHRONOUS ACTIVITIES FOR WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 8
Learning Activity options have been developed for asynchronous assignments. You may choose to use these options and/or develop your own, based on the needs of your class. Selections should be cut and pasted onto your Weekly page prior to publishing.
This week, you will draw a self portrait and match the letters in your name. Pick a different activity to do every day.
- Self Portrait: Draw a picture of yourself to share with your teacher and classmates! Use the writing paper from the Prekindergarten Supporting Resources packet. Remember to add details such as eyes, hair, nose, and more. What do you like to do for fun? You can include that in your picture. Don't forget to label your picture with your name.
- First Name Letter Match: Find the letter cards in your Prekindergarten Supporting Resources packet. Cut out the letters. Can you use the cards spell your first name? If you need help, have an adult write your name, and match the letters to your name. Store your letters in a safe place. You will use them a lot!
