Prekindergarten Science Kits
Prekindergarten Science Kits are a part of your permanent classroom inventory. One kit is provided for each classroom, and should be inventoried and stored yearly.

- Preschool/MINC-PS/MINC-PK/MINC-EL Kits Provided by Early Childhood Programs/Early Intervention Services (2 clear bins)

Consumables
Science consumables are items that are consumed, or used up, each year. Pre-K teachers (half-day Pre-K, full-day Pre-K, co-taught MINC-PK) can order consumable science materials using the Consumable Order Form Download Consumable Order Form. Preschool, MINC-PS, MINC-PK, and MINC-EL teachers can use school-based funds to purchase consumables. Consumables include:

Elementary Science Resource Center
The following pertains to Pre-K classrooms with kits provided by Early Childhood Programs and the Elementary Science Resource Center (2 blue bins).
Returning Science Materials
Check with Holly Rodriguez (holly_rodriguez@hcpss.org) first to ensure the materials is supposed to be returned rather than stored. If returned, the material and bins must be tagged and delivered to ESRC (Elementary Science Resource Center), not Logistics.
To science material picked up, please fill out a Pick-Up/Delivery (PUD) form and Pony the form to ESRC. items being returned must be moved the front office for pick up. A 3-5 day turnaround time is expected for Logistics to come pick up
Delivery of Science Materials
If you are in need of science materials to be delivered, make sure your team has completed the Consumable order form for the year. Please contact Holly Rodriguez (holly_rodriguez@hcpss.org) if there is a concern, question, or special request. Logistics delivers ESRC materials on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so you can plan ahead for the delivery time of needed items.
