Song of the Day 

A group of musicians from Los Angeles, California came together to record an orchestra version of the main themes from "Star Wars". The music from the movie was written by John Williams, a famous American composer who writes original music for a lot of movies. 

 

After watching the video, share what you thought with a family member or you can reply to this discussion thread to share with our class what you think of the song and why. Be sure to start your opinion with "I like the song because..." or "I don't like the song because...." 

Remember some of reasons we have talked about for why you may or may not like a song: 

- the lyrics                      - the beat

- the instruments used                   - the way the song makes you feel

 

Sing and Move 

Let's sing along with our folk song "Hogs in the Cornfield"! Ask someone in your house to join you for some rock, paper, scissors fun!
