Song of the Day 

This week's song of the day is "A-Tisket-A-Tasket" by Ella Fitzgerald. Ella was nicknamed the "First Lady of Song" because of her standout voice - everyone knew it was her singing. She lived from 1917-1996 and this song was her first popular hit, which she released when she was 19. "A-Tisket-A-Tasket" is based on a famous nursery rhyme with the same title. Listen to the song in the video below. 

After watching the video, share what you thought with someone. Be sure to start your opinion with "I like the song because..." or "I don't like the song because...." and give a reason why you liked or didn't like the song. Remember some of reasons we have talked about for why you may or may not like a song: 

- the lyrics                      - the beat

- the instruments used                   - the way the song makes you feel
