How can be make Bee-Bot go where we want him to go?
Directions: Select the play button to begin Peep and the Big Wide World: Peep Feet Links to an external site.. As you view this video, pay close attention to how Peep, Chirp, and Quack figure out how to get to the beautiful flower. Then, think...how can that help Bee-Bot move?

Let's Try It Out Activity
Step 4.
It's your turn to program Bee-bot.
Let's help Bee-bot find the most beautiful flower in the world! Let's figure out how many times we need to use the forward and backward buttons to get Bee-bot from where Chirp and his friends are standing, to the beautiful purple flower!
Directions: You will work with your group to make a prediction about how many times Bee-bot will need to move forward. Then you will teach Bee-Bot the algorithm by pressing the forward or backward button and then hitting the "GO" button to watch him move to the flower.
- Did you get it right? GREAT JOB! Come ask me for another challenge, and try again. Don't forget to clear his memory by pressing the "X" button.
- Did Bee-bot go too far? Did he go not far enough? Don't worry! Press the "X" button to erase Bee-bot's memory, and try again! Don't give up.
