Today I will learn the importance of being safe, responsible, and respectful online.

Motivation

STEP 1.

  Directions: Select the play button to re-watch Private and Personal Information Links to an external site. that you watched yesterday. As you view this video, think about different types of information you could share with an online friend.

STEP 2.

  Directions: Follow along with your teacher to sort the pictures of adults into two groups.  How will you sort the pictures.  How would you describe the two groups you sorted the pictures into?

When we use the computer or another device with the Internet, we want to remember that it is important to be safe and responsible.  One way to help us remember is to Keep Safe, Keep Away, and Keep Telling.

  Directions: Follow along with your teacher to review and practice Keep Safe, Keep Away, and Keep Telling.
