Today I will learn all about the coral reef environment.

Motivation

STEP 1.

Lesson

STEP 2.

  Directions: Can you raise your hand and share some animals you saw during the read aloud? Can you think of any other animals you might see in the ocean?

 

Let's write some of the animals we saw and some that we think we might see in the ocean on chart paper.

 

STEP 3.

Directions: Let's practice our counting by counting animals you might find in the ocean? Select the link below to play a Counting Fish Game Links to an external site..

Activity: Can You Find the Coral Reef Animals?

STEP 4.

Directions: Now it's your turn to find some coral reef animals that are hiding in the ocean. You will be using the eraser tool to uncover the coral reef animals. How many can you find?
