Overview

Today I will learn about sequencing.  I will sequence the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar from beginning to end.  I will practice sequencing directions with Bee-Bot.

Motivation

Lesson: Sequencing

STEP 2.

Select the tab below for the appropriate Sequencing activity for your class.

  Directions: Today we will put The Very Hungry Caterpillar Links to an external site. story in order from beginning to end! We will work with your partners to make sure The Very Hungry Caterpillar's food journey is in the correct order.

Activity: The Very Hungry Bee-Bot

STEP 3.

Select the tab below for the appropriate Very Hungry Bee-Bot activity for your class.

Directions: Now it's Bee-Bot's turn to find some yummy things to eat! You will give Bee-Bot directions so that he can move to gobble up some of his favorite foods!

  1. Icon circleCircle the food you would like Bee-Bot to eat.
  2. Scissors IconCut out the direction arrows.
  3. Glue Bottle IconGlue the direction arrows in order so that Bee-Bot can follow it to get to the food you circled.
