Overview
Today I will learn how to modify or change an image by turning shape stickers in Wixie.
Motivation
STEP 1.
Directions: Can you raise your hand and share what a museum is? What do you already know about museums? Have you ever been to a museum? What did you see? What kinds of things can you find there?
STEP 2.
Directions: Go to Slide 2 and select the play button to begin the video, Story Zoo & Van Gogh Museum: Episode 1. Links to an external site. As you view this video, look at some of the famous paintings created by Van Gogh that can be found in the museum.

STEP 3.
Turning Stickers Teacher Demonstration Links to an external site. in Wixie. Directions: Today we are going to learn how to turn stickers so that they are facing the direction we want them to be using in a picture. When we turn a sticker, we rotate it. Follow along with your teacher as they demonstrate using the the Wixie assignment,
- Let's turn some pictures together.
Look at each image in the museum.
- Select the image first.
Then select the turn right or turn left buttons to turn or rotate the image so that it is facing the correct way.
- HINT: You may have to select turn more than once!
Now, let's practice turning more images in our museum in your own Wixie.
Activity: Mixed Up Museum
STEP 4.
Directions: Now it's time to practice on your own in Wixie. On the first page of the project, drag the pictures to the correct picture frame. You may have to turn them so that they fit! Then, go to the next page and drag the shapes to make the animal in the picture frame. Don't forget to turn them! Remember to click on the Museum Cat to listen to directions if you forget what to do.
1. Log in to your Chromebook.
