ASSIGNMENT Overview
What's Cyberbullying? Links to an external site.. As you view this video, think about what you have learned about cyberbullying in the last two technology classes. Then complete the Google Assignment below to identify important components of local cyberbullying laws. Directions: Select the play button to begin

Submit Assignment
NOTE: Download a copy of the linked Google Drive PDF below and upload to your own Google Drive. Then in submission type below select External Tool and Find > Google Assignments LTI. Select your copy of the "Grace's Law: Maryland's Anti-Bullying Law Links to an external site." - PDF file. Make sure that the point value and due date on the Google Assignment match the point value and due date in Canvas. This file is also available in Spanish, Chinese, and Korean. Translated versions are linked in the Teacher Preparation section of the lesson plan.
COMPLETE AND SUBMIT A GOOGLE ASSIGNMENT:
- The Google Workspace Template that your teacher has created will load directly in the Canvas Assignment when you open it.
- Review the Google Account listed. If it is your HCPSS Google account, select the blue "Link" button.
If it is not, select the white "Switch Account" button and select your HCPSS Google Account.
- Another window will open requesting your approval to link your HCPSS Google Account to the Canvas Google Assignment.
- Select the blue "Link" button.
You will only have to link your account once per assignment.
- Select the document that includes your first and last name in the file name under Your Files.
- Your copy of the assignment template will load in a new tab. This will open your copy of the Grace's Law Maryland's Anti-Bullying Law.
- Complete the assignment.
- View the Grace's Law handout that is part of the student handbook.
- How does this relate to what we learned today?
- Highlight at least 3 important pieces of text and use the commenting feature to include a comment telling why this is important.
- You can come back and work on this assignment at any time. You can also access the assignment directly in your Google Drive once you have began working.
- When you are finished your work, in the Canvas Assignment window, select the blue "Open to attach and submit" button.
- Select the blue "Submit" button to turn in your work.
- Select "Submit" to confirm your submission.
- You will receive a confirmation that your assignment is submitted and ready for your instructor to review.
- Once your teacher has graded your work, share what you have learned with your parent/guardians.
