Grade 2Digital Citizen CORNERSTONE TASK

Getting Started - Day 1

Overview

Today you will be doing research on a topic you have chosen. Then you will write an email to a friend sharing the information you gathered in your own words using citations.

Getting Started

The Internet makes it easier than ever to keep in touch with friends and loved ones both in our community and around the globe through the use of email.  Before the Internet, people had to send letters through the mail and it would take sometimes several days to reach its destination.  But now with email, letters can be sent electronically in seconds. Have you or your parents ever used email to communicate or share with others?
