Overview

Today we will use what we have learned about being a digital citizen to make an interesting and informative podcast comparing possible social/peer issues for colonial children, compared to modern children.

Motivation

STEP 1.

For this task, you are going to create an original podcast.  Podcasts can take on many different themes.

  Directions: Select the play button to begin Wow in the World Exploding Ants! Links to an external site. As you listen to this recording, think about the ways that the podcasters make the podcast more interesting for the listener.

Lesson

STEP 2.

You will create a podcast show that compares the life of a child during the colonial times to the life of a child today.  You have already learned about colonial times in your social studies unit.

  Directions: Below are the parts of a podcast that your teacher shared with you.  Review each part and make sure you understand what is expected.  Ask your teacher any clarifying questions.
