ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION

Assignment Overview

  Directions: Follow your teachers directions to check your understanding of identifying strategies for creating strong, secure passwords and its importance in cybersecurity.

The consequences we just talked about might seem scary. But there is something you can do to make sure no one can ever guesses your password. Here are some important steps to power up your password.

One way to make a strong password is to start with a memorable phrase. A phrase is a group of words that go together and are easy to remember. In this activity you will do a Practice Round as a Class and then create a password of your own independently.

Submit Assignment

Complete and Submit a Google Assignment:

  1. The Google Workspace Template that your teacher has created will load directly in the Canvas Assignment when you open it.

  3. Another window will open requesting your approval to link your HCPSS Google Account to the Canvas Google Assignment.  
  4. Select the blue "Link" button. Screenshot of Blue button with text "Link"  You will only have to link your account once per assignment.

  6. Your copy of the assignment template will load in a new tab.Screenshot of new tab in Google Assignments  
  7. Complete the assignment.  You can come back and work on this assignment at any time.   You can also access the assignment directly in your Google Drive once you have began working.
  8. When you are finished your work, in the Canvas Assignment window, select the blue "Open to attach and submit" button. Screenshot of blue button with text "Open to attach and submit" 
  9. Select the blue "Submit" button to turn in your work.  Screenshot of Blue "submit" button

  11. You will receive a confirmation that your assignment is submitted and ready for your instructor to review. Screenshot of Submission Confirmation
