  Directions: Students will demonstrate their understanding of how digital content is permanent and cannot be deleted.  They will identify information as either personal or private information. Further, acknowledging that private information should not be given to anyone online without the permission of a trusted adult. 

 

Questions to ask to check for concept understanding:

  • What types of information might be included in your digital footprint?
  • Why should you worry about your digital footprint?
  • What is some advice you would give to someone to ensure they are being safe online?
  • What is the difference between personal and private information?
