Grade 4 Technology Computational Thinker Unit

Cornerstone Task

Overview

During the second and third quarters, fourth graders have engaged in a Computational Thinker unit where they have learned more complex elements of coding and debugging using loops and conditionals in a block-based coding language called Scratch.  This unit culminates in a Cornerstone task where students will have to apply these skills to complete a task. Their task is to work as a computer programmer to create a computer maze game.  The finished Cornerstone Project will allow students to move a sprite around a maze while a player responds to questions.
