Let's Get Ready to Code!

  Directions: Next let's get started by setting up our Maze using Scratch with CS First.  Follow the directions below to get started.  Select the video tutorial tab, if you need additional help.

 

FILE NAME: Cornerstone Task - FirstName 

 

  • Select File and then Load from your Computer in the drop down menu.

  • Select Recent and then select Cornerstone Trivia Maze HCPSS.sb3 file that you downloaded in the first step.

  • Select Open.

  • You now have a remix of the Cornerstone Trivia Maze HCPSS in your CS First account under Projects to complete today's activity.

  Directions: Select the play button to begin Remixing Cornerstone Maze - Video Tutorial Links to an external site.. As you view this video, follow the directions to get started with your Cornerstone Maze project.

  Directions: Follow along with your teacher to make sure you have the the following documents open in separate tabs in your Chrome Browser in addition to this Canvas tab.  This will allow you to work through your Cornerstone task efficiently.

Make Your Own Maze

Directions: Review the directions on your Cornerstone Maze Requirements document.  Using the Requirements Checklist on page two begin to work through each obstacle task. Add an X in each box as you complete each task.

  • Test the block code and debug as needed.

When you are finished, make sure that your work has saved and go back to your Dashboard in CS First.

Select the Next Page button at the bottom of the page to go to the next day of the Cornerstone Task.
