Cornerstone Task

Overview

During the second and third quarters, fifth graders have engaged in a Computational Thinker unit where they have learned the basics of coding, including broadcast commands to add action and dialogue in their program using a block-based coding language called Blockly.  This unit culminates in a Cornerstone task where students will have to apply these skills to complete a task.  Their task is to work as a storyteller an share a short story through Scratch for CS First.
