Assignment Overview

Students will demonstrate their understanding of how to create a prompt and generate a custom character using the Adobe Express Text to Image feature.

Directions: Follow the directions below to open the Adobe Express template and complete your work.

    1. Go to hcpss.meLinks to an external site. in a new tab.  Select Adobe Express. If prompted, login with your HCPSS username and password. 
    2. Select the link to open Create a Character - Adobe Express Links to an external site.

    4. This will open a copy of the project in your Adobe Express Account.
    5. Rename the project by renaming it [YourName] Character File name for Adobe Express Project
    6. Select Share in the upper right corner, type in your teacher's whole name.Screenshot of share file in adobe express

    8. Select the elephant image, then in the left tool panel select Generate Image. generate image tool in adobe express
    9. Replace the words in brackets [ ] with your own words.  Then select Generate. sample prompt for generate an image in adobe express     generate button in adobe express
    10. Select the generated image of your choice from the ones create to add the image to your project.
    11. Edit the text under the image to match your prompt used.
    12. Use the tools in Adobe Express to update any colors for a more cohesive look.

  • Edit your prompt to generate new options.

Submit Assignment

Submit a File from Your Computer:

  1. On the Adobe Express Create a Character project page, click Download
    • Choose PNG and click the blue Download button

  3. Under the "File Upload" tab White File Upload tab in Canvas select "Upload File." White Upload File button in Canvas
  4. Select "Choose File." Grey Choose File button
    1. Select file from your Google Drive  Image of My Drive upload in Chromebook
    2. Select "Open." White Open button
