Overview

Today I will learn how to modify an image by deleting stickers that do not belong.

Motivation

STEP 1.

  Directions: Go to Slide 2 and select the play button to begin the Gardening with Kids: Around the House Links to an external site. video. As you view this video, think about what you already know about gardens, and what things you may see inside a garden.

Let's write some facts about gardens and some things we may see in a garden.

 

Lesson

STEP 2.

  Directions: Today you will learn how to get rid of stickers that don't belong in a picture. When we get rid of a sticker, we delete it. Follow along with your teacher as they demonstrate using the Deleting Stickers Teacher Demonstration Links to an external site. in Wixie.

  • Let's delete some pictures together!

Now, let's will practice deleting items that do not belong on your own in Wixie. 

Activity: Deleting Stickers in the Garden

STEP 3.

Directions: Now it's time to practice on your own in Wixie. On the first page of the project, look at each box and delete the sticker that doesn't belong. Then, go to the next page and delete the stickers that do not belong inside the garden.
