Grade 5 Digital Citizen Cornerstone Task Assessment
Assessment Evidence
Students will provide expert advice using what they have learned about digital citizenship in the form of an advice column in a newspaper, a podcast in Wixie or a PSA with a video recording application. Students will work in groups to complete an organizer that will lead them to successful completion of the project. There is a teacher rubric and a student/peer rubric for this project. Students will be assessed on how well the format they choose appealed to the audience, the validity of the facts in their responses and that resources are identified and how well they worked within their group. Audience appeal, content and collaboration are the important qualities of this project.
