Grade 5 CCGC: Cornerstone Task Lesson Activity Preparation (SF)
Creating Teams
Your group can have 4-5 members. Smaller groups will have the challenge of members holding more than one role. Larger groups will have the challenge of more members with unique ideas that need to be heard.
Team Roles
During collaborative work, you can foster positive interdependence by choosing roles for various team members. Roles help solidify the value of each member’s contribution and, in the case of large projects, help a team meet project requirements.
Take the next few minutes to discuss and assign the roles. Make sure to work with the strengths of your team members. Please resort to a decision making game when you can’t reach an agreement, like rock, paper, scissors.
