Pacing of Digital Citizen Unit Cornerstone Task by Day and Objective
Day Objective
Day 1 & 2 Students will review the parts of the friendly letter and email to compare and contrast the two.  Students will review the Cornerstone Task rubric so that all students are aware of the task expectations. Students will use PebbleGo to research digital citizenship. The students will copy facts from the website and then put them into their own words. The website information will be recorded on a research organizer.
Day 3 & 4 Students will use facts gathered to compose a formal email about their topic. Appropriate email etiquette will be reviewed and expected. Students will evaluate the email they composed before sending/sharing it using a student rubric.
