Grade 2 Digital Citizen Cornerstone Task Assessment
Assessment Evidence
Students will demonstrate the ability to research information on the internet, to paraphrase the information they wish to report, and to cite their sources. They will also be expected to draft an email appropriately to report the information they have gathered. The student will demonstrate appropriate online behavior and respect for intellectual property. Students will be evaluated on their ability to identify relevant information, to put it into their own words, and to create an age appropriate citation. The format of the email will also be evaluated: the student should include a recipient, appropriate subject line, greeting and signature.
