Directions:  Now that you have had a chance to watch The Keyboarding Chronicles and discuss with your classmates, your next step is to reflect about your own keyboarding form.

Click this link to make a copy of the Keyboarding Form Practice Doc. Links to an external site.  Type the text provided in the box.  While you are typing, observe your own keyboarding form. When you finish, evaluate your ability to demonstrate the proper keyboarding form elements using the Rubric below. Highlight the element that you are going to focus on improving in the coming quarter.  Submit your work when you are finished.

Scoring Rubric

  • 3 - You are doing an Awesome Job! You were successfully able to demonstrate this element the whole time.
  • 2 - You are doing a Good Job!  You were successfully able to demonstrate this element most of the time.
  • 1 - You are off to a Good Start!  You still need more practice or You were successfully able to demonstrate this element some of the time.
