Day 1 |
Students will review the Cornerstone task requirements and learn about pseudocode. They will practice writing their own pseudocode for common tasks and using guided practice as a group. |
Days 2 |
Students will complete a planning guide which includes a classroom map to determine the route that they will take and a pseudocode organizer to begin to create the code needed to navigate Dash through the classroom. |
Day 3 |
The students will input their code for Dash into the Blockly Puzzles page. They will take on job roles when they are ready to navigate Dash through the classroom course. |
Day 4/5 |
The students will navigate Dash through the classroom course and reflect on their work. They will complete a survey to share about their effort and how they worked as a team member to accomplish this task. |
