Pacing of Computational Thinker Unit by Day and Objective
Day Objective
Day 1 When students begin Day 1 of this Cornerstone task, they will have completed the lessons of the Computational Thinking unit. The students will use resources such as their spinner story organizer and skills mastered to continue programming their stories. Students will spend time reviewing the Cornerstone Task Requirements and learning how to set up their browsers for completing the Cornerstone Task.
Day 2-4

Students will begin to create computer code for the elements of their story using the sprites and backgrounds that have been selected on their spinner story organizer . Students will begin to debug any issues that arise.

Day 5

Students will complete their coded story and submit through Canvas Digital Submission Assignment.  Students will also complete a video reflection assignment.

Some students may need an additional day to complete the Cornerstone Task.
