Grade 5 Computational Thinker Cornerstone Task Assessment
Grade 5 Computational Thinker Cornerstone Task Assessment
Assessment Evidence
- Students will demonstrate their understanding of computational thinker concepts by using computer coding to tell a story. Students will write code for at least two character and backdrop that convey a beginning, middle, and end. Each story must have dialog and movement using the broadcast command in their code. Once students have completed the computer code, run their program, and fixed any issues, they will submit their project and be assessed on various aspects of computational thinking including persistence, completing the code for their story, and debugging errors in the code.
