Cornerstone Tasks
Cornerstone tasks provide students with an opportunity to create authentic products that are based on standards and connect to real-world careers. Students will be empowered to create a product of lasting value by engaging in meaningful tasks facilitated by an educator. Each task will provide equity, differentiation, and student choice to allow for students to reach milestones for success.

Cornerstone Summary
Fourth graders will work in teams to create a product review of collaborative drawing and text tools available in Wixie Teams and Google Slides. Teams will create a similar project using both tools, reflect on their experiences, and construct an opinion review based on those experiences. Student reviews will be based on the products ease of use for the selected art and text tools as well as ability to work collaboratively with others.
Assessment Evidence
Students will work as teams to perform a test on the collaborative and drawing tools of Wixie and Google. They will write a product review based on their experiences with the two platforms. Students will be evaluated on the appearance and content of the review as well as teamwork participation.
