Design a solution to something such as an invention to solve a problem for a character in a book or nursery rhyme. For example, Stuart Little needs tools/help living as a mouse in a human home. Wixie Links to an external site., Google Draw or a creation from physical materials can be used for the design. Students can upload any of the following: an image and caption of their design or completed design, a list of materials used, results of experiment and observations/conclusions. This information could be referenced by others in the class or other classes in HCPSS. “VoiceThread Links to an external site.” and Canvas discussions are good to get feedback and a blog or Canvas discussion would be a good choice for promoting online conversations.
