What Does My Career Require? What's My 'Educational Endurance'?

There can be multiple pathways that lead to a specific career or a group of related careers. Some of these pathways can very specific, for example, to be a physical therapist, you would need a four-year bachelor's degree followed by three years within a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. Others like a teacher could be attained through an initial four-year bachelor's degree or through a two-year Master's in Teacher program if one is changing careers. Then other careers may not have educational requirements or require a structured apprenticeship. When determining your post-high school path take into account:

What does my career require?
What major would I need to have?
Is it better to go the trade school or apprenticeship route?
What is tolerance to continue education, my educational endurance?
Do I need to combine pathways to start with due to obligations?
What hurdles exist along these pathways?
