Empowered Learner

  • Identify parts of a computer and its peripherals: CPU, USB port, sound port.
  • Drag a document to designated location.
  • Select appropriate printer to print.
  • Recognize and use icons to perform computer and software functions: print, save, undo, redo, bold, italic, underline, text color, highlight, fill, home button, back button.
  • Turn on, restart, & shutdown computer/mobile device.
  • Launch a web browser.
  • Use basic navigation buttons - forward, home, refresh, stop.
  • Use undo/redo tools.
  • Select and edit text: font size, font type, font style, font color.
  • Modify an image/object - i.e., rotate, flip, resize, change colors, patterns.
  • Use tools/applications to create original images, videos, audio.
  • Open and view a presentation or presentation template in slideshow mode.
  • Troubleshoot headphones and problems with sound.
