How to Support Your Child
- Ask your child to dribble a ball with his/her hands and feet.
- Practice using a variety of locomotor skills in a variety of activities.
- Practice throwing overhand to a partner.
- Encourage your child to develop a jump rope routine.
- Discuss fitness test results with your child.
- Have your child participate regularly in a physical activity to develop a healthy lifestyle.
- Discuss the health benefits of participating in physical activities.
- Walk or jog with your child, if possible.
- Discuss the importance of accepting students of all skill levels while working in partner and/or team activities.
