Fine Motor
Use strength and control to perform simple tasks:
- Pushing marker caps off and on
- Pushing cookie cutter into dough
- Using a paper punch to make holes
- Using glue and a glue stick
- Pasting on appropriate side
- Use and explore various drawing and art tools:
- Drawing with crayons and markers
- Painting with a brush at the easel
- Using chalk on the chalkboard
- Copying a line
- Copying simple shapes
- Drawing simple shapes
- Writing letters and numbers
- Adding two parts to an incomplete person
- Holding a pencil in a pincer grasp
- Drawing a picture and labeling it
Gross Motor
- Foundational Skills
- Walking and Running
- Balance and Jumping
- Trapping and Catching

Perception and sensory integration
- Use and integrate information from the senses to explore and learn about objects, people and experiences and to navigate own movement and actions.

- Demonstrate increased control and movement of the body using large muscles (involving the use of head, trunk, legs and arms).
- Use large muscles and whole body movements to explore their environment and interact with others.

- Demonstrate increased control and coordination of small muscles in the hands and fingers to allow for more precise actions and objects.
