Students at all levels can change their passwords using the below directions. Students should change their password immediately if they believe that their password has been compromised.

1. Go to https://hcpss.me Links to an external site..
2. Scroll to the bottom and select the Change Password button.
3. Enter your username and your current password, which may be a temporary password given to you after a password reset. Then press Next.
4. Enter a new password in the New password and Confirm new password fields. The form will dynamically provide feedback on the newly selected password including a test of the password's strength, which complexity requirements have been met, and if the selected password is on compromised password lists.
Password Parameters:
- Must be a minimum of five (5) characters for elementary students and eight (8) characters for middle and high students.
- Exceptions may be allowed based on demonstrated need.
5. Once your password meets the requirements click the activated Change password button to proceed. A Password change succeeded message will display if the new password was applied.
