Under homeroom, you will see 2 sections: Announcements and My Subjects.

Announcements are posted by your homeroom teacher (elementary) or your school (middle school). Use the left and right arrows to see older announcements. Your teachers will also post subject announcements, you will see those on the cards.

My Subjects will show one card for each subject (course) you are taking. 

You may drag you cards into different orders on your page. Each card may shows links to the following:

• Assignments due today
• Number of missing assignments
• Course announcements from your teacher

Click on a link to see that information or click on a card to see your subject.

Schedule

Schedule shows all your upcoming due dates and subject announcements for the week. Use the left and right arrows to see past and future weeks. Next to your assignments you may see additional labels like Graded, Late, Missing. If your assignment is labeled graded, click the title to see your score and feedback from your teacher.

Grades

Select the grades tab to see the current grades in your subjects. You can open a specific subject to see all your assignment scores.

Resources

This tab includes links to different websites or HCPSS tools that your teacher may be using. You will also see all your teachers listed and can click on their name to send them a Canvas Inbox message.

Important Dates

Events on the right side of the page are items that your teachers have marked as important and that they want you to pay special attention to. This may be a field trip, a test, or a special day at your school. You should always look under Schedule to see when assignments are due.
