HS Courses

Your Canvas courses are where your teachers will create and share lessons, assignments, and grades. To open a course, you will just click the card on your dashboard. The course will open to your teacher's homepage and each course will have a menu of links on the left side of the page. You will use these links to navigate around your course. Teachers can customize those links but you will typically see links for:

  • Home
  • Announcements
  • Modules
  • Grades

The Home link will always take you to the teacher's class homepage. On that page you will see overview information about the class, your syllabus, links to tools your teacher may use, and information about your teacher.

Your teacher can post announcements to your course and recent announcements will appear at the top of the course homepage. Open the announcement to read it's complete text.
