Unit 6, How We've Grown 24-25

JUNE 2 - June 11Unit 6: How We've Grown

Unit Overview

The two-week unit should occur at the end of the school year to give students an opportunity to look back over the year and recognize how much they have grown, changes, learned, and developed. For the culminating unit project, students create a video of their year together. Teachers may also incorporate their own end-of-year lessons and activities within the unit.

Key Concepts

  • Kindergarten
  • Growth
  • Reflect

Culminating Project

Unit 6 culminates in a class video yearbook that recaps how the class has grown and changed and what they have learned over the past year. Students will have an opportunity to revisit their favorite lessons and activities to demonstrate what they know now that they didn't know at the beginning of the school year.

C4L Processes

C4L develops ten cognitive processes that are both domain specific and applicable across all four domains. The C4L curriculum incorporates all processes within each unit, but some units place a stronger emphasis on a particular process goal. The follow C4L learning processes are addressed within Unit 4.
