ADVICE COLUMN

Directions: Let's get prepared for our task. You will have two days to complete this task so be mindful of your time and work together as a team. Review the directions below to help you get started.

Review the four scenarios from the previous page in this module.
Discuss with your group how to address each of the scenarios. Consider assigning one scenario to each group member to lessen the workload and maximize your use of time.
Refer to what you have been learning about in our digital citizenship lessons; Digital Footprint, Your Online Reputation, Cyberbullying, and Being a Responsible Digital Citizen. It would be a good idea to go back to the modules and look at the resources provided.
Complete the Digital Citizenship Cornerstone Organizer. Work together with all the members of your group to make sure that the organizer is completed. If you were assigned a specific section, you only need to complete that section. All of the sections must be completed collaboratively by your group.
Use your Organizer as a rough draft or script for your project. Write down everything you want to include. Keep your language professional and positive. It is OK to have a little fun, but don't be too silly. You are an expert on this topic. Be creative!
Have your group members review your response for the organizer before typing in the newspaper.

Have ONE member of your group open the document, make a copy and SHARE with your teacher and the rest of the group. Work collaboratively to complete these items following the information above. There is also a resource document that may be helpful when you are writing your responses.
