Overview
Today I will learn how to refine and improve upon existing code by building a maze game in Scratch using CS First.
Lesson
STEP 1.
Directions: Today we are going to use the skills that we have learned from the previous lesson to build a maze game using an existing template. Select the Directions tab to get started. Select the Video Tutorial tab, if you need additional help.
Directions: Follow the directions below to help you get started with your Building a Maze Scratch project.
- Select the link to open the Building a Maze Game Links to an external site. Scratch template.
- Select the download icon in the upper right corner to download the file to your Chromebook.

- Sign in to CS First Links to an external site. in a new tab.
- Select the Blue + button and then select New Project in the drop down menu to open a new project.

- Name your file in the blue text box in the top menu bar.

- Select File and then Load from your Computer in the drop down menu.

- Select Recent and then select Building a Maze Game HCPSS.sb3 file that you downloaded in the first step.

- Select Open.

- You now have a remix of the Building a Maze Game HCPSS in your CS First account under Projects to complete today's activity.
