   Directions: Students will demonstrate their understanding of the impacts of AI bias by engaging in an interactive discussion using Lucid Spark.

Now that you have had a chance to learn more about Bias and the Impacts of AI Bias, specifically unfair treatment, unequal opportunities, continuing stereotypes, and misinformation; What do you think society can to protect against bias?

Using the sticky note feature, consider one of these questions and write your answer to that question in the Impact of Bias you have selected.

  • What may happen as a result of AI Bias?
  • How may AI Bias be harmful?
  • What should we consider when using AI?
  • What should we consider when creating new AI tools?

After creating your own entry, review the entries by your classmates.  Add a sticky note as a response to one classmate:

  • Did they make a point you hadn't thought about?
  • Can you challenge their thinking with an example of your own?
