Grade K Computational Thinker Cornerstone Task Summary

Grade K CT Cornerstone Task Summary

Summary

Students will work in small groups and individually to test an algorithm for delivering a message to a teacher. Students will use their Planning My Route to show where Bee-Bot must travel to deliver the message.  Then they will code the Bee-Bot to travel this path using sequences and algorithms and debug their plan.  Working together and individually students will create, test, and modify the algorithm to complete the task as necessary using a Bee-Bot robot and an Bee-Bot Emulator.

  • There is a Maximum Number of Commands for Robots
    • Bee-Bot - max commands 40
  • Students should have prior experience with Bee-Bot (or the robot chosen for this project).
