Assessment Evidence
- The students will demonstrate their understanding through consistent computer use and by completing a performance task in Google Presentations and Wixie
- The teacher will collect and evaluate the students responses on the performance task to determine if the student is able to apply each technology skill.
- The teacher will keep anecdotal records of the observable skills to determine if the student is able to apply each technology skill.
- The Grade 3 Technology Skills Checklist will be used to evaluate whether the student is able to apply each technology skill.
- The focus of the Grade 3 Performance Tasks are to provide the teacher a means in which to assess the technology skills checklist as well as help develop students who are productive and problem solvers when using technology in the classroom setting.

Lesson Plan
The applied skills found on the Grade Three Tech Skills Checklist are designed to be embedded into technology infused lessons taught by both the Technology Teacher and Classroom Teacher. When planning lessons from existing Grade Three curriculum that incorporate technology, the teacher should refer to the Tech Skills Checklist and provide instruction and monitor student progress for developing skills and applied skills. Teachers should collaborate to continue to provide opportunities to practice these skills when appropriate in the Grade Three Curriculum. Below are links to the existing Technology curriculum units as well as other curricular units for Grade Three.
